CONFUSION

 CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_48

योगस्थ: कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनञ्जय |
सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्यो: समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते || 48||

yoga-sthaḥ kuru karmāṇi saṅgaṁ tyaktvā dhanañjaya
siddhy-asiddhyoḥ samo bhūtvā samatvaṁ yoga uchyate

TRANSLATION

O Arjuna, Give up the attachments of Triumphs And be ready to perform your prescribed duties, such equitable intellect is called as Yog.

EXPLANATION

Here the lord Shri Krishna saying that:-

Those who accept all the situations peacefully with will is a very great thing and that is called yog, which means unitizing with the god. Just our effort is in our hands not it's results, we should be focused on the present work what we're doing but not to imaginating the result's as per your comfort. When you start imagination for your results then anxiety raises then it leads you to confusion in your present work. So for every work you should do without any interest on the results, therefore you feel every work as a yog.

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_53

श्रुतिविप्रतिपन्ना ते यदा स्थास्यति निश्चला |
समाधावचला बुद्धिस्तदा योगमवाप्स्यसि || 53||

śhruti-vipratipannā te yadā sthāsyati niśhchalā
samādhāv-achalā buddhis tadā yogam avāpsyasi

TRANSLATION

When your comprehension of material world terminates for the vedic duties and you still settle to be in the divine spiritual consciousness, you will stated as yog

EXPLANATION

When your spiritual intellect is un faded for any of the circumstances. For the KARMA'S that you attired to be very strong, then only we can reach the flawless spiritual knowledge by uniting the individual consciousness with the eternal consciousness. The same way we do exclude many situations with confusion and let them carry over our eternal duties (the karma's you should follow) by imaging something else which is not yet happen that leads to the un fruitful results in our karma's (duties). The time when we strongly stick to the present time and situations and evaluating the right thing to perform the duties which are in your hand at the moment and when we focus completely in the presence in all the situations that you're facing then only we will be successful and called as yogi.
