DEATH OF LOVED ONE

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_13

देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा |
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति || 13||

dehino ’smin yathā dehe kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā
tathā dehāntara-prāptir dhīras tatra na muhyati

TRANSLATION
The physical body of the embodied being is the process of childhood to youth and old age; Similarly the death is the soul passes from one body to another body. The conqueror do not deluded by this.
EXPLANATION
Here the lord SHREE KRISHNA said-
The death is a simply transmigration of soul from one body to another.
just like we born as a baby and we grew to kid and then  teenage, young age, A man to old man. It mean the soul which you didn't created came from a died body. Everyone will die to reborn again, in this particular matter of death the wise people do not afraid of it. Bravely invite your death to reborn again. In our life we loss many things and we may leave some places to move on the same way we must treat our self in the process of death and reborn, leaving your old body and attaining  a new one. So face it with courage. It  will be very difficult to make sense out of the suffering until you strongly believe in it.

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_20

न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचि
नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूय: |
अजो नित्य: शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो
न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे || 20||

na jāyate mriyate vā kadāchin
nāyaṁ bhūtvā bhavitā vā na bhūyaḥ
ajo nityaḥ śhāśhvato ’yaṁ purāṇo
na hanyate hanyamāne śharīre

TRANSLATION

The soul doesn't have any birth or any death, the soul is eternal and immortal, ageless, nor does it come into being again when the body is created. Soul is imperishable and it's never destroyed when the body destroys.

EXPLANATION

The lord KRISHNA exclaimed that the immortal soul is never carried off is being confirmed by it's freedom from the fix changes of human being in this material world. They are;

Birth Existence, Growth 
Modification, Decay, Death

The soul is ever existing beyond birth and death. The death is merely the destruction of the body, but the immortal soul remains unaffected by all bodily changes. The soul is didn't spring from something, and nothing sprang from it.

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_22

वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय
नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि |
तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही || 22||

vāsānsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya
navāni gṛihṇāti naro ’parāṇi
tathā śharīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇānya
nyāni sanyāti navāni dehī

TRANSLATION

Just like the way we're take off our old garments and wearing a new apparels. In the same way the embodied soul take off the old body and acquires a new one.

 EXPLANATION

Here the lord SHREE KRISHNA explaining the nature of soul with the concept of rebirth comparing to our everyday activity. When our cloths become torn and old we probably take those cloths off and wears new cloths, but in doing so we do not change in the same manner the soul remain unchanged, it just simply leaves the old body and attains a new one and takes rebirth in that freshly attained body. people feel very happy to have new cloths but why so tedious about getting new born. Death is simply getting a life from the beginning with brand new people and new places to start again with another body according to our previous karma's (Actions).

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_25

अव्यक्तोऽयमचिन्त्योऽयमविकार्योऽयमुच्यते |
तस्मादेवं विदित्वैनं नानुशोचितुमर्हसि || 25||

avyakto ’yam achintyo ’yam avikāryo ’yam uchyate
tasmādevaṁ viditvainaṁ nānuśhochitum arhasi

TRANSLATION

Lord SHREE KRISHNA declaring that the soul is unnoticeable, incredible and unchangeable, by knowing this; It's not wise to wail.

EXPLANATION

As a human being we could have senses like we can touch and we can see the material objects only. Because human body is made up of material energy but the soul is being divine and beyond the duchy of this material energy. That's invisible to our eyes. The soul don't need any physical space it's eternal. We should consider this appearance and do not tend to cry over death.

CHAPTER_2 SLOKA_27

जातस्य हि ध्रुवो मृत्युर्ध्रुवं जन्म मृतस्य च |
तस्मादपरिहार्येऽर्थे न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि || 27||

jātasya hi dhruvo mṛityur dhruvaṁ janma mṛitasya cha
tasmād aparihārye ’rthe na tvaṁ śhochitum arhasi

TRANSLATION

The one who born. The death is certain and the one who dead, birth is certain, therefore you shouldn't wail for inevitable situation.

EXPLANATION

Lord SHREE KRISHNA saying that the person who born on this material world should meet with death one day. Similarly you will get a new birth according to your karma's. We cannot change  this scenario, however the death is absolutely inevitable, if we can't stop our death and which is not in our control then why lament over it?
At every moment people are dying those who alive are witnessing the phenomenon and yet they do not think that one day they will also die. What can be more astonishing than this? lord Shree Krishna explains that life is inescapably a dead end for a new start. So a wise man do not lament over the inevitable death.
