FORGETFULNESS

CHAPTER_15_SLOKA_15

सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि सन्निविष्टो
मत्त: स्मृतिर्ज्ञानमपोहनं च |
वेदैश्च सर्वैरहमेव वेद्यो
वेदान्तकृद्वेदविदेव चाहम् || 15||

sarvasya chāhaṁ hṛidi sanniviṣhṭo
mattaḥ smṛitir jñānam apohanaṁ cha
vedaiśh cha sarvair aham eva vedyo
vedānta-kṛid veda-vid eva chāham

TRANSLATION

I am inside supervisor of all living entities, I always dwell in their heart. Whatever the consequence may be sentience, perception, forgetfulness. I am the one who known by all the Vedas, I am the meaning to the sense of Vedas.

EXPLANATION

here the lord Shree Krishna says that he is always within our heart with the potential of knowledge and memory. but it's difficult to understand exactly to human beings, here the intellect and our mindset is like a software and the brain is an asset to tolerate those intellect and your mindset. 

Lord Krishna has given you the strength of forgetting. it is just like how we erase the trash from our computer. But this realization is worthless if we do not know god. Only those who have learned to truly love god. The reason of the rituals and ceremonies instructed are to allure people out of the material world towards spirituality. these Vedas are the intermediate move to disengage from the materialistic mindset and redirecting to the god.
