LUST

 CHAPTER_03_SLOKA_37

श्रीभगवानुवाच |
काम एष क्रोध एष रजोगुणसमुद्भव: ||
महाशनो महापाप्मा विद्ध्येनमिह वैरिणम् || 37||

śhrī bhagavān uvācha

kāma eṣha krodha eṣha rajo-guṇa-samudbhavaḥ
mahāśhano mahā-pāpmā viddhyenam iha vairiṇam

TRANSLATION

The Lord Shree Krishna said that: The Lust which is raised from the passionate desires, and it leads to anger, do know that it's a sin, and it makes the world to destroy.

EXPLANATION

The Lust Not only for sexual desires it includes all the joy of this material world, with your body it is absorbed in several ways some people are for money, some people are for prestige, Some people are for power it can be in a lot of ways, whenever you get to that stage of enjoyment you'll feel the most but whenever your going away of them accordingly with the time and situations, then all of your desires takes turn into the anger, because you unable to elegance with the past life and comparing to exactly what you are now, it makes your mind unstable. Can't we ignore it? Desires are common but we shouldn't go drain if they may go away.

CHAPTER_03_SLOKA_41

तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ |
पाप्मानं प्रजहि ह्येनं ज्ञानविज्ञाननाशनम् || 41||

tasmāt tvam indriyāṇyādau niyamya bharatarṣhabha
pāpmānaṁ prajahi hyenaṁ jñāna-vijñāna-nāśhanam

TRANSLATION

First Control your senses, and kill the lust, that's an expression and manifestation of the sin, and that will ruin your knowledge and realization.

EXPLANATION

Shree Krishna explains how to overcome lust, the root of all evil, That we must control our senses with the strength of mind in the very beginning before it's gonna mislead our mind. Generally we create the desires for the sense of the body and then we begin to upset with those unconditionally

When we get the cherished object, the disease of our own creation gets eradicated, and we think of it as happiness.” However, if we think of ourselves as the soul and our only purpose is happiness of the soul, then it becomes easier to renounce such material desires.

CHAPTER_03_SLOKA_43

एवं बुद्धे: परं बुद्ध्वा संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना |
जहि शत्रुं महाबाहो कामरूपं दुरासदम् || 43||

evaṁ buddheḥ paraṁ buddhvā sanstabhyātmānam ātmanā
jahi śhatruṁ mahā-bāho kāma-rūpaṁ durāsadam

TRANSLATION

By realizing that the individual consciousness to be superior to the intelligence, O Mighty armed! Keep your mind stable for realization and defeat this gluttonous enemy in the form of lust.

EXPLANATION

People always modified by the desires that which agitates our body and mind, and then inflamed by the lust comes with the sense of objects and that overrides our brain and you will loss the control of your intellect but the soul is not been modified and it is the witness to all changes. Soul is Supernatural to everything, so guide your brain with the soul and direct your intellect with the soul Although kama or lust is extremely difficult to conquer and exerts very powerful activity with firm conviction and determination one must completely terminate and eradicate this most pernicious enemy in the form of karma and free oneself from the ravages of delusion.

CHAPTER_05_SLOKA_22

ये हि संस्पर्शजा भोगा दु:खयोनय एव ते |
आद्यन्तवन्त: कौन्तेय न तेषु रमते बुध: || 22||

ye hi sansparśha-jā bhogā duḥkha-yonaya eva te
ādyantavantaḥ kaunteya na teṣhu ramate budhaḥ

TRANSLATION

The fulfilment which comes from the contact with the sense objects, they pop up vey joyful to the people who engrossed in worldly interests, Certainly leads you to the distress. O son of Kunti, That kind of rapture has start and the end, the wiser do not recreate in them.

EXPLANATION

Here the lord Krishna saying that, These worldly pleasures are temporary, Once you finish or reach your desire you will tend to make a new one, however your satisfaction is just for a few days or months but not long-last, human desires has no end, they will generate one after one which are very temporary,

For EX:

When you visit a new place it seems like wonderful and very pleasant for your eyes, but if you keep visiting that same place again and again it will become a normal place for you, no longer you enjoy anymore.

The happiness from the material objects keeps decreasing as we enjoy them. But the devotion towards god it was a feeling that is limitless and ever fruitful and it's never gonna decrease the pleasure of chanting his name, as we do it that reinforces us to do more be more happy, because that's eternal ever-fresh, divine bliss and the devotion is doesn't let your mind connected to the material world.
