CHAPTER_16_SLOKA_13,14,15

इदमद्य मया लब्धमिमं प्राप्स्ये मनोरथम् |
इदमस्तीदमपि मे भविष्यति पुनर्धनम् || 13||
असौ मया हत: शत्रुर्हनिष्ये चापरानपि |
ईश्वरोऽहमहं भोगी सिद्धोऽहं बलवान्सुखी || 14||
आढ्योऽभिजनवानस्मि कोऽन्योऽस्ति सदृशो मया |
यक्ष्ये दास्यामि मोदिष्य इत्यज्ञानविमोहिता: || 15||

idam adya mayā labdham imaṁ prāpsye manoratham
idam astīdam api me bhaviṣhyati punar dhanam
asau mayā hataḥ śhatrur haniṣhye chāparān api
īśhvaro ’ham ahaṁ bhogī siddho ’haṁ balavān sukhī
āḍhyo ’bhijanavān asmi ko ’nyo ’sti sadṛiśho mayā
yakṣhye dāsyāmi modiṣhya ity ajñāna-vimohitāḥ

TRANSLATION

The devilish nature people think, I have everything today, I can fulfil all of my desires, I got it now and I'll gain even more tomorrow. I can defeat my enemies I can faint anyone with my power, I am like god himself, I can enjoy everything, I have high placed relatives. No one is equal to me, I can donate anything to celestial gods I shall give alms I shall rejoice. In this way they are deluded by ignorance.

EXPLANATION

The people with demoniac nature feels like i can enjoy whatever makes be happy by ignoring the righteousness and morality, they perform concerted efforts to adapt their ambitions. That kind of people are rude with others and they thought themselves as god that he can do anything with his wealth. They do not hesitate to harm anyone for their welfare. Such kind of demoniac people sometimes rise higher in the social status but their actions are unworthy and cheap in quality. The persons with these kind of nature are said to be a asura(demons).

To be a good devotee or a good human being you have to tolerate with these characteristics, pride is the main obstacle for some ones spiritual life but the true people with humanity they sacrifice their self interest for the welfare of others these people can enjoy the real happiness by combining with the god.

The ego creates the biggest untruth in our lives, and makes us believe what we are not. Thus, for progress along the saintly path, all the religious traditions and saints urge us to dismantle our egotistic thought patterns.

CHAPTER_18_SLOKA_26

मुक्तसङ्गोऽनहंवादी धृत्युत्साहसमन्वित: |
सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योर्निर्विकार: कर्ता सात्त्विक उच्यते || 26||

mukta-saṅgo ‘nahaṁ-vādī dhṛity-utsāha-samanvitaḥ
siddhy-asiddhyor nirvikāraḥ kartā sāttvika uchyate

TRANSLATION

The one is identified by the mode of goodness, when he or she is free from egotism and attachment, and who bestow with eagerness and will power, and equal in success and failure.

EXPLANATION

Here the lord Krishna describing the actions. The people with the mode of goodness are very energetic they work with dedication and sincerity. And such actions are done by genuine consciousness. 

The Sathvik people don't keep any attachments with this material objects, nor they believe that these material objects do not bestow fulfilment to the soul. They do work with the gentle motives. And since their intensions are pure, they are strong enough with their inner power which is gained by the lord with their goodness and humble character. Through they accomplish great things and they credit their success to god  without pride, that's the nature of super blissful life with unlimited devotion towards the god.

CHAPTER_18_SLOKA_58

मच्चित्त: सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि |
अथ चेत्वमहङ्कारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि || 58||

mach-chittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣhyasi
atha chet tvam ahankārān na śhroṣhyasi vinaṅkṣhyasi

TRANSLATION

You always remember me, I will let you overcome all the drawbacks and difficulties. If you do not listen to me with pride, you will fall down.

EXPLANATION

Here the lord Shree Krishna saying about the welfare of following his advice and also the consequences of ignoring it. Our soul shouldn't considers that it's independent of god. If we mingle our heart and soul with Lord, with fixed mindset, then we will be free from all the obstacles and difficulties will be resolved. And with your egoistic mindset, with your overthinking nature if you think you are better than the eternal wisdom of god and the scriptures, we will fail to attain the goal of human life, there's no one superior to god, nor is there any advice better than his.
